Alejandro Rodriguez Obituary

Mission, Tx. - It is with deep sorrow and a heavy heart that we announce the passing of Alejandro Rodriguez IV, age 25, on April 7, 2025. Alejandro was a beloved son, brother, grandson, mentor, and friend.

He leaves behind a legacy of love, loyalty, and an adventurous spirit that will forever be cherished by all who knew him. Our memories of being afield with him, whether in the dove fields, deer blind, lake or bay, will always be with us. He loved with all this heart and cared with all his being.

Alejandro was a proud graduate of Texas A&M University in College Station, where he earned his degree in Political Science and formed lifelong bonds with his fellow Aggies and members of the collegiate Trap and Skeet team. He continued his post-graduate studies at South Texas College of Law in Houston and was a month from graduation.

Known for his unwavering loyalty and compassionate heart, Alejandro was always there for those who needed him. Whether he was offering a listening ear, a helping hand or just a good laugh and company, he made sure that his loved ones knew they could count on him. His infectious smile, vibrant energy, quick wit, and love for life will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him.

Alejandro's memory will live on through his family, friends, and the many lives he touched. He is survived by his loving parents Alejandro III and Anna Gilda, his siblings Veronica Teresa, Ramon Mario, and Gabriel Andres, grandparents Alejandro and Olivia Rodriguez, and Daniel and Susie Botello, his beloved uncles and aunts, cousins and an extended family that adored him.

Gilda, Alejandro, and Family, I cannot even begin to think of the loss you are feeling. I know it hit me hard when I got the news, and I was still in a state of disbelief. Mom always told us never to question God's plans for us, and He knew what was best. Times like these are never expected, but all we can do is pray for strength, faith, and peace. My family and I send our condolences and much love.

I never met Alejandro at a young age, but when I met him at 23 years old it felt like we had been friends for decades, I had the opportunity to work with him for a brief period when we both worked at the home depot, we are both the same age, we were the most charasmatic pair of young men the home depot ever saw, that's the reason we got along so well, our values aligned, we both had amazing work ethic, we did things with a good attitude, we would go for drinks after work, he invited me to fish at La Joya lake, and that was the first and the only time I've ever caught a fish! He invited me to meet his whole family, and I did! I brought his family a big basket of natural grown berries from my backyard, everyone treated me really well, from his parents all the way up to the grandparents, being Alejandro's friend brought me a sense of security, a sense of peace, I just wish we could of kept up more, I want the family to know that I am here for you, and that since I heard the news I have been trying to contact you, but I don't have any of your phone numbers, so please reach out to me because I want to be there, I would love to celebrate and talk about Alejandro's life as much as possible 956-355-2133

My memory of Alejandro is of him sitting in class with wonder in his eyes. He was a sponge for new and interesting information. I will always remember him and he will live on in my heart. It is very difficult as an educator to lose a student. All I wished for him was to do great things and be successful because he had the drive to do it. It´s a profound loss for us all who knew him and I am beyond grateful to have had the opportunity to have him as my student. I will always be proud of all he accomplished. I am so sorry for your loss. I pray for your entire family and all the friends he touched.

Alejandro was...well actually he was the first crush I´d ever had. In seventh grade, we had an art class together and sat at the same table. I thought he was the funniest person I´d ever met - he could make the entire class burst into laughter, even the teacher! We continued into high school together, and we weren´t close after that one art class that made us know each other more. But now even after graduating college, and moving across the country - I still remember how funny, kind, and thoughtful he was to other people. I will always remember him that way. I believe seldom on Earth have that radiating personality able to connect a room full of people, but Alejandro was one of them. I´m so sorry to hear of this tragedy, my thoughts and prayers to his family.

Brother, I still remember the little memories we had with eachother. All though I knew you for a shorter time than I would´ve hoped for, they do hold a special place in my heart. How I met you through a mutual friend and our skeet shooting memories. You humbled me every time I thought I was the king of skeet and trap. I´m lost for words but this came from the heart and condolences to you and your family. You´ll be missed dearly and I´m proud you accomplished so much great things in your short time. Love you brother. When we unite in the sky once again I´ll be a little better and try to give you a run for your money this time. Fly high homie. Till we meet again broski.

I had the privilege of meeting Alejandro through our mutual friend Robert when I visited Houston. Though we only crossed paths briefly, he left a lasting impression. From the moment I met him, you could tell he had a special presence-calm, sincere, and charismatic. It was clear how deeply he cared for those around him and how committed he was to making a difference. My thoughts are with his family, friends, and all who had the honor of knowing him. He will be missed.

I had the privilege of meeting Alejandro and witnessing the joy of our Savior´s love in him when I taught at Agape Christian School.

What does "Agape" mean?
In the Bible, Agape refers to an unconditional, selfless, and sacrificial love. It is the kind of love God has for us-a love full of grace, always seeking the good of others. It is this love that was perfectly displayed through the sacrifice of Jesus Christ.

John 3:16 tells us:
"For God so loved the world that He gave His one and only Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish, but have eternal life."

As a child, Alejandro received and embraced this Agape love of his Savior. And so, I am confident in the words of Philippians 1:6:
"And I am certain that God, who began the good work within you, will continue His work until it is finally finished on the day when Christ Jesus returns."

1 John 4:16 also reminds us:
"We know how much God loves us, and we have put our trust in His love. God is love, and all who live in love live in God, and God lives in them."

Alejandro loved God-and God loved Alejandro.
And so I pray that these words bring you peace in knowing that your precious baby boy is now in the hands of his Creator, where there is no more pain, no more sorrow, and no more worry.

May the embrace of our Savior´s unconditional love be deeply felt through the prayers and love of all who surround you.
