My condolences to Al Longoria's family...I knew him little, but I had a lot of respect for him & have never forgotten him. Having grown up on East Peter St by the Apollo Park in Edinburg in the 50's thru the 80's, Al's Drive In meant a lot to me, my brothers & my sister, & to all the kids & folks from the neighborhood around Al's Drive In on Schunior Rd. It was a modern, clean store, Al was attentive & courteous to everyone always, and he had a GREAT comic selection, my favorite part of his store. Thank U, Al. Forever Rest In Peace

My deepest condolences to the Longoria family. May Jesus Christ open heaven for Al an receive him into His loving arms. I met Al at Pan American College in the early '60's, and we maintained a good relationship for many years. Al was always fun to be around with, and he always seemed to have a smile on his face. He will definitely be missed. Mrs. Longoria and children know that my prayers and thoughts are with you. God's blessings always.
