AUDELIA SANCHEZ Obituary
MISSION - Audelia "Gail" Sanchez, 65, passed away Saturday, September 10, 2011, at her residence in Streamwood, IL with her family by her side. Audelia was born on September 16, 1945 in Granjeno, TX. She was the beloved wife of 49 years to Gilberto Sanchez; loving mother to three children, daughter Nelda (Sixto) Reyna, son Gilberto Jr. (Veronica) Sanchez, and daughter Annette (James, Sr.) Farmer. She was the proud grandmother of five grandchildren; granddaughter Erica (Tom) McKinley, grandson James Farmer Jr., grandson Gilberto III, granddaughters Selena and Jacquelina Sanchez. Audelia will be lovingly remembered by one great-grandchild Jamilyn McKinley.
Audelia is survived by her siblings; sisters Esperanza "Hope" (Gregorio) Avila, Irma (Jesus) Lopez, brother Juan (Eulalia) Garza, sister Maria Elena (Jim) Clark , brothers Miguel (Pauline) Garza, Jr, and numerous nieces and nephews.
Audelia is preceded in death by her sister Consuelo Infante; and her parents Miguel and Inocencia Garza.
The family would like to give special thanks to Dr. Tajuddin and Nurse Judy at St. Alexius Cancer Center, and a special thanks to Monarch Hospice, and to the Reyna family for all their help and support at this difficult time.
Serving as pallbearers will be Jesus Lopez, Jr., Jesus Garcia, Jr., Dario Garza, Michael Sanchez, Miguel Garza, III, David Garza, serving as honorary pallbearers will be Gary Gonzalez, Joel Gonzalez, Aidan Gonzalez, and Gregorio Avila.
Visitation will be held Saturday, September 17, 2011, from 8:00am-3:00pm at Ric Brown Family Funeral Home Chapel in Mission. A special reading will be held at 1:00 pm. A funeral mass will be held Saturday, September 17, 2011 at 3:00pm at Our Lady of Fatima Catholic Church in Granjeno. Burial will follow at Granjeno City Cemetery.
Services are under the direction of Ric Brown Family Funeral Home in Mission.
