Cheryl Johnson Obituary

Boerne, Texas - Cheryl Carpenter Johnson, 76, passed away peacefully on December 8,2021 in Boerne, Texas at Cibolo Creek Nursing Home. Her family was by her side. She was born January 10, 1945 to parents Lewis E. "Dick" Carpenter and Louise Margaret Sorensen of San Juan, Texas.



Cheryl graduated from PSJA High School in 1963. She then attended college in Gainesville, FL. Cheryl married her high school sweetheart Travis M. Johnson on April 25, 1970 (div. 2003). They had two children together Brent and Shelby. Her greatest joys in life were traveling and to see family and friends. She also loved going fishing, art, playing bingo and trips to Las Vegas for a little gambling.

Cheryl is preceded in death by her parents, many relatives and those from her "Johnson" family.



She is survived by her loving daughter Shelby Johnson Durivage (Michael) of Kerrville, TX and son Christopher Brent Johnson of New Braunfels, TX; granddaughter Kayla.
