Dan you will never know how much your support to Bill meant to me. We all loved playing softball with you and have lost a lot of heart from our team with your passing. Lefty your courage was and will always be an inspiration to me and all of us. You will be missed !

You stepped up, and guided a whole wrestling crew; through long hours and long days, you made sure wrestling at CD continued.

I am so very sorry for your loss. Danny was my first friend growing up on 3rd street many years ago. I will always remember all the good times we had as kids like sledding at fishers park or building igloos out back and the many Halloween party's we had together. He was the greatest friend I had as a child And I will always remember him. My thoughts and prayers are with your family.

I met Dan in Army ROTC. I remember finding out that he was sick, and being shocked by it. He was always so energetic and alive, and pushed so hard during training, that I simply couldn't imagine that anything was wrong. I'm very, very sorry to hear that he has passed.

You were always willing to lend an opinion or a hand. One of the smallest guys on the mat or field but you competed like you were the biggest. God bless you, buddy.

We met in ROTC, your zest for life, your witty comebacks, and funny jokes are all what I will remember about you, but most clearly it was your ZEST FOR LIFE! I'm happy to have met you and will continue to remember your spirit and courage... RIP MCLAUGHLIN!

You were a man of indomitable strength and courage in your fight for life; a true inspiration to anyone lucky enough to have known you. You lived more in your short time on this world than many ever do. You touched so many lives in so many ways including mine. You will be missed so, so, dearly old friend.

Dan,
I thought I knew what it meant to be strong but you showed me a new level of strength and courage. You can't lose if you never give up. And you never gave up. That's courage that you can't teach and you can't buy. As I go forward I'm going to build my life around the strength you showed me. I'm going to make your strength my own. And teach it to my children. And make sure that part of you gets passed on and is always here.
I'm gonna remember all the good times. Like when you needed "any woman". Or when you grilled up a million clams on that camping trip. Or drinking ourselves silly in the park on cold nights. And a thousand other times when all we did was laugh. Via con dios bud. We're all gonna miss you.
