DAVID ESCOBAR Obituary
PHARR - David Escobar, 56, went to be with the Lord on November 9, 2011.
He was preceded in death by his father Guadalupe Escobar David was born to Guadalupe and Herlinda Escobar on September 12, 1955 in Park Ridge, Illiniois.
David is survived by his daughters Iris Elizabeth and Kathryn Lynn, his mother Herlinda De La Rosa Escobar and siblings Lupita Marmolego, Gilberto, Israel, Irma, Rey Escobar, Susie Ayala, Ismael Escobar, Janie Brooks, Roel Escobar, Gracie Escobar, Jose and Lucio Escobar.
David stood strong in his faith and loved his family and all those that were close to him. He was a hard working man, a passionate father, a caring brother, a loving son and a faithful friend. He will be remembered always and missed until he's seen again.
Visitation was held on Friday, November 11, 2011 from 4 p.m. to 9 p.m. at Amador Funeral Home in Pharr. A prayer service was held that day at 7 p.m. at the chapel. Funeral service will be today, Saturday, November 12, 2011 at 10 a.m. at La Nueva Jerusalem in San Juan. Burial will follow at Guadalupe Cemetery in Pharr.
Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Amador Funeral Home in Pharr.
