Donna Glazer Obituary

Dallas, Tx - Donna Lee Glazer, 67, passed away peacefully April 17, 2024 surrounded by her family in Dallas, TX. She grew up in Fairbanks, Alaska and finished high school at Pharr San Juan High School in 1974. This experience created a strong, independent and self-sufficient woman. After finishing college at University of North Texas she taught special education in the RGV for several years. She loved teaching, and often talked about her students fondly from years past.

While living in McAllen, she married Brian and had two children Brittaney and Jordan. After 35 years in the medical field, she moved to Dallas to be near her children and later grandchildren.

She was a caring and loving wife, an incredible mother, an exceptional "Mimi" and trusted, reliable and dutiful friend. She is survived by her husband of 42 years Brian, her mother Sadie Miller, sister Carol Smith of St. Paul Kansas, children Jordan Glazer and Brittaney Glazer (husband Timothy), and granddaughters Kendall (2 years) and Dylan (1 week).

Donna found peace within her family and friends. She loved gardening and watching her flowers bloom. She was an avid reader and loved adventure. She cherished her time as "Mimi" to Kendall, and had the most special bond with her granddaughter.

Donna believed in "Paying it Forward" so in honor of her life, pay it forward towards someone who needs it, making the world a better place as she so often did.

My deepest sympathy to the loving Glazer family.
Donna was more than a best friend, she was like the sister I never had. She was one of the kindest, strongest, and wisest women I have ever met, and she and our wonderful memories will live on in my heart for ever!
