Edwin Kock Obituary

Edinburg, TX - Edwin de Kock - 3-9-1930 - 12-14-2022

Born in Matatiele, South Africa. Died in Edinburg, Texas after a short illness.

Edwin was a poet in English, Afrikaans, and Esperanto and was world famous among Esperantists. He enjoyed reading poetry in 10 different languages.

Since the age of five he had been fascinated by the prophecies of Daniel and the Revelation. After retiring he spent the last 20 years of his life as a Historicist prophetic writer, producing five significant books on prophecy.

His funeral arrangements were made with Legacy Chapels.

A celebration of life will be held at the Edinburg SDA Church, Wisconsin Road, on January 7, 2023 at 6pm.

We deeply appreciate the kind staff at the Rio Grande Regional Hospital and Amara Hospice. We sorrow not as those who have no hope, but with him, await the coming of the Life-giver on the clouds of heaven.

Friends, we would love to have you there with us!
