Elias Gonzales Obituary
PHARR - Elias Gonzales, age 68, passed away early Saturday morning, September 27, 2008, at the Comfort House in McAllen. He was a native of Pharr, TX and a US Army Veteran.
He is survived by his wife of 27 years, Dora Alicia Gonzales of Pharr, seven children, Suzie (Emilio) Gomez, Estela Diehl, Manuel Elias Gonzales, Samuel Eduardo Gonzales, Isabel Diana Gonzales all of Aurora, Illinois, Marco Antonio Gonzales and Eloy Omar Gonzales both of Pharr, one sister, Hortencia Gonzales of Dallas, one brother, Eloy (Eduarda) Gonzales of Pharr, 16 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held today, Sunday, September 28, 2008, from 1 to 9 p.m. at Skinner Silva Funeral Chapel on West Sam Houston in Pharr, with a Prayer Service to be conducted at 7 p.m. in the evening.
Military Honors under the direction of VFW Post 8788 of McAllen will be conducted at 10 a.m., Monday, September 29, 2008 at Skinner Silva Funeral Home. As per his wishes he will then be cremated at Garden of Angels Crematory in Mission.
Funeral arrangements are entrusted to the care of Skinner Silva Funeral Home of Pharr.
