EVA M. REYNA Eva M. Reyna, 88, went to be with our Lord, Tuesday, April 5, 2016, in Edinburg surrounded by her family. Born in McAllen she had lived in Edinburg most of her life. She is preceded in death by husband, Hector Reyna Sr.; two sons Hector Reyna Jr. and Osiel Luna; a grandson LCPL Derek Hernandez; her parents; three brothers and a sister. Eva Reyna was an extremely loving and caring person who touched so many people's lives in so many different ways. Eva will be remembered as a selfless, altruistic wife and mother who always had a smile on her face even when times were tough. She had a quiet strength and never complained. Always supportive and encouraging, always wise and kind, she was extremely proud of her children and grandchildren. She had the smile of an angel and a beautiful spirit that was ever so evident by the way she made you feel around her. Her presence will be missed by all. Eva is survived by nine children; Blanca Lopez, Olivia (Teodoro) Suarez, Oralia "Nancy" (Noel) Pedraza, Eva (Roy) Tamez, Diana Reyna, Mary (Eddie) Benavidez, Virginia Reyna, Tony (Mary) Reyna and Anita Reyna; 23 grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews. Visitation will be from 5pm to 9pm with a 7pm prayer service and rosary, Thursday, April 7, 2016, at Legacy Chapels 4610 S. Jackson Rd in Edinburg. Funeral mass will be celebrated at 10am Friday, April 8, 2016, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Edinburg. Interment will follow at Palm Valley Memorial Gardens in Pharr. Grandsons will serve as pallbearers; Michael, Fabian, Israel Jr., Gabriel, Adrian, Samuel, Mark and Daniel. Funeral services are under the direction of Legacy Chapels in Edinburg.
