EVELYN MARY MAIER

EVELYN MARY MAIER Evelyn Mary Maier, 49, of Mission, passed away Monday. She was born to Betty Tresca and the late Gilbert Abercrombie, September 12, 1963, in Upper Darby, PA. She married Barry Maier in 1993, and they lived together in Indiana, before relocating to Mission in 2008. Evelyn cared deeply for her family and found pleasure in being active in her children's lives. She enjoyed gardening, reading and had a great love for all animals. She used her creativity in baking, scrapbooking, and quilting. Evelyn loved to travel and made many good memories on cruises and at Disneyworld. She enjoyed the spirituality and fellowship of her bible study group. Evelyn is survived by her spouse, Barry Maier and three children: Amber Courtad , of Plymouth, MI; Alex Maier, of Anderson, IN; and Amanda Maier, of Mission, TX. She is also survived by four grandchildren: Grant and Anna Courtad and Graiden and Rylan Maier. Evelyn is survived by her step-father, Robert Tresca, her brother, David Abercrombie, and three step-siblings: Bobby Tresca, Dian Tresca, and Donna Toledo. She is preceded in death by her brother, Scott Abercrombie. A viewing will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday, 15 February 2013 with a service Saturday, 16 February 2013 at 11 a.m. Both are at Kreidler Funeral Home.
