FEDERICO (FRED) RODRIGUEZ EDINBURG - Federico (Fred) Rodriguez, 83, of Edinburg (Faysville), Texas, passed away, Thursday, June 6, 2013 at 7:59 p.m.. He was born November 29, 1929 in Edinburg, Texas to the late Francisco (Tito) and Andrea Rodriguez. Fred is survived by his wife of 57 years, Virginia S. Rodriguez and 7 children: Rafael Rodriguez, Ida (Raymond) Huerta, Nora (Ormandin) Torres, Melva (Oscar) Huerta, Fred, Jr. (Leonor) Rodriguez, Dahlia (Rey) Corpus, Nelda (Jesse) Hernandez. He is also survived by 20 grandchildren, 27 great grandchildren, 2 siblings, Maria Luna & Tomasa Gonzalez. He was preceded in death by his parents, Francisco & Andrea Rodriguez, daughter Rosa Rodriguez, Siblings, Tito Rodriguez, Ventura Rodriguez, Lisandro Salas & Josefa Garcia. Visitation will be held on Sunday, June 9, 2013 from 1 pm to 9 pm with a rosary to be recited at 7:00 pm. Funeral mass will be held on June 10, 2013 at 10 am at St Theresa Catholic Church in Faysville, Texas. Burial will follow at La Blanca Community Cemetery.
