Despite not knowing Steve peronally I knew of him as we attended McHi in the 70's. I was able to watch him race live in and around Texas and I was proud of his accomplishments in the sport of racing.

Steve and I played baseball when we were young! We must have been 10 or 11 years old! I remember we had great memories playing sports. He was a real great guy and really fast on his feet! RIP old childhood friend!
