GAVINO RODRIGUEZ DONNA - Gavino Rodriguez, 89, passed away Sunday, June 14, 2015 at McAllen Medical Center. Mr. Rodriguez was born in Matehuala, San Luis Potosi, Mexico on February 19, 1926 to Esteban Rodriguez and Dominga Faz. He is preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Monico Rodriguez, Abraham Rodriguez and Antonio Rodriguez. He is survived by his wife, Francisca Robles Rodriguez; sons, Domingo (Irene) Rodriguez, Gavino (Maggie) Rodriguez Jr., Santiago (Kristina) Medrano Jr., Mario (Deborah) Medrano; daughters, Demetria (Julian) Loredo, Dora (Rene) Martinez, Elizabeth Escamilla, Blanca (Jose) Perez; sisters, Paulina Molina, Concepcion Montoya. Also surviving him are 19 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren. Visitation will be today, Tuesday, June 16, 2015 from 12 p.m. to 9 p.m. with a 7 p.m. rosary. Funeral mass will be Wednesday, June 17, 2015 at 2 p.m. at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Donna. Interment will follow at Val Verde Memorial Gardens.
