German Sanchez Obituary

Alamo - German Sanchez, 91, passed away Tuesday, March 14, 2023, at Doctors Hospital at Renaissance in Edinburg.

Mr. Sanchez was a loving, caring and hardworking father.

He is preceded in death by his son, Arturo Sanchez; and his parents, Arturo Sanchez and Maria Lopez de Sanchez.

Mr. Sanchez is survived by his wife, Gregoria Sanchez; his 15 children, Marie Rodriguez of San Juan, Alicia Olivarez of McAllen, Eduardo Sanchez of Mission, Marie Sanchez Cantu of McAllen, German Sanchez Jr. of Pharr, Jaime Sanchez of McAllen, Tony Sanchez of Mission, Sylvia Garza of Harlingen, Javier Sanchez of Alamo, Karen Liliana Sanchez of Los Fresnos, German Sanchez of Reynosa, Tamps., Elida Maria Sanchez of McAllen, Arturo Sanchez of Corpus Christi, Camilo Sanchez of Mission, Juan Francisco Sanchez of Alamo; numerous grandchildren; great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.

Visitation will be held from 4 to 8 p.m., with a 7 p.m. service today, March 17, 2023, at Memorial Funeral Home in San Juan. Funeral service will take place at 10 a.m. Saturday, March 18, 2023, at Memorial Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow at Roselawn Cemetery in McAllen. Funeral services are under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home in San Juan.
