GUADALUPE CAVAZOS Obituary

GUADALUPE CAVAZOS PHARR - Guadalupe Cavazos, 87, died Monday, May 13, 2013, at McAllen Medical Center. Mrs. Cavazos was born in Mexico and had lived in Pharr most of her life. She is preceded in death by her husband, Rangel V. Cavazos, Sr.; her parents, Jose and Altagracia Valdez; a brother; and three sisters. Mrs. Cavazos is survived by ten children, Hilda Lopez, of Edinburg, Irma (Melchor) Espinoza, of San Juan, Praxediz (Elena) Cavazos, of Pharr, Mateo (Alicia) Cavazos, of Houston, Texas, Consuelo (Ramiro) Ramirez, of Donna, Sylvia (Paul Friedrich) Cavazos, Rangel Cavazos, Jr., Guadalupe Cavazos, Rosendo (Jennifer) Cavazos, all of Seattle, Washington, Ricardo (Bobbie) Cavazos, of Pharr; 29 grandchildren; 30 great-grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held from 5 to 9 p.m. with a 7 p.m. rosary today, May 14, 2013, at Memorial Funeral Home in San Juan. Funeral service will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday, May 15, 2013, at Memorial Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow at Palm Valley Memorial Gardens in Pharr.
