Helen Chastain Obituary
MISSION - Helen Pauline Chastain passed from this on life on Wednesday, July 15, 2009 at the age of 90. Pauline was born in Vinita Oklahoma on July 27, 1918 to Ohmer and Beulah Shull.
Pauline is preceded in death by her husband, Robert Chastain and two sons, Ronnie and Butch Chastain.
She is survived by two grandchildren, Stephanie Hilton and her husband Mark Hilton, Eugene Chastain and his wife Alex Chastain; one great-grandchild, Dylan Chastain and one sister, Pat Norton and her husband Bob Norton.
Pauline spent many years working with her husband Robert in his construction/paving business and was very involved in Calvary Baptist Church but her favorite pastime was spending time with her family and friends.
Services will be Saturday, July 18, 2009 at 10:30 a.m. at the Ric Brown Family Funeral Home in Mission, TX. Burial will follow at Valley Memorial Gardens in McAllen. Services are under the direction of Ric Brown Family Funeral Home of Mission.

Best wishes to all the Chastains. You guys come from strong stock.
When we were in high school with Ronnie and Butch, Pauline and Julio were parents to all of us - our protectors and our role models. Their very names always bring a smile and a ton of memories. What characters!
