ISABEL T. CARREON WESLACO - Isabel T. Carreon, 82, passed away to be with the Lord on Tuesday, November 20, 2012 at Valley Grande Manor. Mrs. Carreon was born September 25, 1930 in Weslaco, TX to Conrado & Concepcion Tijerina. She is preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Manuel Carreon & 1 brother, Orlando Tijerina. Mrs. Carreon is survived by 2 sons, Roel M. Carreon (Patricia V.) of Weslaco, TX, Rene J. Carreon (Yvonne) of Mercedes, TX; 2 daughters, Isabel Mirta Reza (Fred) & Diana Carreon Skalitsky (James), both of Weslaco, TX; 1 brother, Rogelio Tijerina (Kathy) of Weslaco, TX & 1 sister, Armandina Hernandez of Weslaco, TX. Also surviving are 11 grandchildren & 12 great-grandchildren. Visitation will be held 12:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. Wednesday, November 21, 2012 with a 7:00 p.m. rosary & 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. Thursday, November 22, 2012 at Guerra Funeral Home of Weslaco – Chapel of The Angels. Funeral service will be held 10:00 a.m. Friday, November 23, 2012 at St. Joan of Arc Catholic Church. Celebrant will be Rev. Martin De La Cruz. Interment will follow at Highland Memorial Park. Pallbearers will be Roel Carreon, Rene Carreon, Roy Tijerina, Jr., Michael Skalitsky, Fred Reza, Jr. & Daniel Reza.
