ISRAEL L. REGALADO WESLACO - Israel L. Regalado, 66, passed away to be with the Lord on Tuesday, February 4, 2014 at Valley Baptist Medical Center. Mr. Regalado was born June 30, 1947 in Bryan, OH to Jose & Concepcion Regalado. He is preceded in death by his parents; 2 brothers, Ruben Regalado & Ismael Regalado. Mr. Regalado is survived by his wife, Idolina Regalado of Weslaco; 4 daughters, Belinda Guerra (Roberto) of Weslaco, TX, Maribel Madrigal (Efrain Sr.) of Cedar Hill, TX, Ermelinda Regalado & Veronica Regalado, both of Weslaco, TX,; brother, Jose Regalado, Jr. of Fort Meade, FL & 1 sister, Violanda Perez of Pasadena, TX. Also surviving are 3 grandchildren, Jesma Tianna Bautista, Efrain Madrigal, Jr. & Leah Victoria Guerra. Visitation will be held 1:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. with a 7:00 p.m. rosary today, Thursday, February 6, 2014 at Guerra Funeral Home of Weslaco – Chapel of The Heavens. Funeral service will be 10:00 a.m. Friday, February 7, 2014 at St. Pius X Catholic Church. Celebrant will be Deacon Jesus Aguayo. Interment will follow at Highland Memorial Park. Pallbearers will be Efrain Madrigal, Sr., Efrain Madrigal, Jr., Juan Sandoval, Roberto Guerra, Jesus Bautista & Jose Gonzalez.
