Jaime Guerra Obituary
EDINBURG - Tacambaro, MX - Jaime R. Guerra, 65, was called to his heavenly home by the Lord on February 20, 2008.
He was born to the late D.V. and Braulia Guerra in McAllen TX.
He is preceded in death by his niece Martha Guerra Arteaga. He enjoyed gardening, art, antiques, good music and the outdoors.
Left to cherish his memories is his brother Dario V. Guerra Jr.; sister-in-law, Carmen R. Guerra; nephews, Dario III (Hollen), J.E. (Eddie) (Norma), Ricardo, Luis Guerra, Maricarmen (David ) McDermott and Gustavo Arteaga; four grandnieces; and eleven grandnephews.
Visitation was held from 5:30 to 7 p.m. at Kreidler Funeral Home on N.10th with a rosary being read at 7 p.m. A Memorial Mass will be celebrated at 11 a.m. on Thursday, February 21, 2008, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in McAllen with Rev. Tom Luczak officiating. The family suggests that friends make memorial contributions to the American Cancer Society, 5413 S. McColl, Edinburg, Texas 78539 or the Vannie E. Cook, Jr. Cancer Foundation, 101 W. Expressway 83, McAllen, Texas 78503. Kreidler Funeral Home, Inc. is in charge of the arrangements.

I am deeply saddened to hear that my dear friend Jaime has left us. I have such wonderful memories of Jaime as we grew up, took rides in that pink Lincoln, danced great dances, laughed, cried and laughed some more. I am so thankful that I was able to share some precious moments with Jaime in the last few years. One of my favorites was going to Edinburg and having lunch with his mom. My condolences to all the family and friends who are left with memories but without the sound of Jaime's great laugh. My prayers are with you.

He was a great man to all of us. He was like another grandpa to me. He will always be in our hearts. He lived a good life and now he is in a better place with God, Martha, Guagua, Pallio, and everyone else. My family and I will never forget Jamie R. Guerra.

My sympathy and condolences go out to Jaime's family. He was a warm and charming man and not to mention very diverted. Fun and humorous is what comes to mind when I remember him. I know his family will miss him greatly. Please remember family, that your friends and his mourn your loss with you.
