JAIME QUINTANILLA Obituary
SAN ANTONIO - Jaime Quintanilla, Jr., 19, entered eternal rest on Tuesday, May 17, 2011 at Southwest General Hospital of San Antonio. Jaime was born April 23, 1992 Hammond, Louisiana. He is the son of Jaime Sr. and Yesenia Quintanilla. He is preceded in death by his maternal grandmother, Maria Felicitas Leal.
He is survived by his parents, Jaime and Yesenia D. Quintanilla; son Devin Anthony Quintanilla; brother, Jesus Daniel Quintanilla; two sisters, Alexis Jenay Quintanilla and Giselle Giovanna Quintanilla; paternal grandfather, Isidro G. Quintanilla; paternal grandmother, Amelia L. Quintanilla; aunts, uncles and cousins.
Visitations will be from 10:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. Saturday, May 21, 2011 and from 1:00 pm to 9:00 pm Sunday, May 22, 2011 with a rosary being recited at 7:00 pm at Rivera Funeral Home in McAllen. A Mass of Christian burial will be held 10:00 a.m. Monday, May 23, 2011 at Our Lady Of Perpetual Help Catholic Church in McAllen. Interment will follow at La Piedad Cemetery in McAllen.
HIJO NOS VOLVEREMOS A VER Aunque grande es la distancia y profundo mi amor sé que algún día hijo, nos volveremos a ver, allá en el infinito de ese mundo celestial en donde gozas con ángeles y vives con nuestro Dios, allá mismo mi vida, nos volveremos a ver. Toda mi vida la apuesto a que nuestro Supremo Creador, me tiene la gran sorpresa de volvernos a encontrar. Una inmensa alegría llena mi corazón, el saber que estás feliz, aunque no encuentre la razón. Lo más grande que agradezco a mí Padre Celestial, es que nos haya permitido veintiún años juntos estar, disfrutando cada momento de nuestro amor terrenal. Y por eso con confianza de que todo allá es mejor, desde aquí te mando hijo mi humilde bendición. Sigues en mis recuerdos hasta el final de mi creación, pero confío mi santo que allí estaremos los dos, abrazándonos y besándonos, sin que exista más dolor, todo será gozo me lo prometió mi DIOS. Recuerda hijo amado nos volveremos a ver, allá en ese Paraíso lleno de un mundo mejor. DIOS TE BENDIGA TE AMA POR SIEMPRE TU MAMÁ.

Fill my heart with your love again lord, I rely on your character to lead me through every dark night of the soul as well the bright sunny days of my joy. 11years and it still seems like it was just yesterday.
I thank God for sustaining you Yesenia, Jaime, Jenny, Danny, Giselle and Erick. After Jaime entered eternal rest I have seen your family has persevere and move forward with the help of God. You are an inspiration, you remain in my prayers and to Jaimito I say, "I know we have a promise Jaimito and that us that one sweet day we will see you again but until then rest well!"

I remember you often, especially that short and sweet phone conversation we had a few days before you went to be with The Lord. We miss you and often wonder what you'd be like ....that we'll never know but we truly are grateful for who you were while we had you here on earth. Man its been so long since I've seen and heard from you and you're wonderful family. I remember in 08 I was coming down to visit and me and my mom couldn't find the house. Then in 2013 my mom found this obituary and my heart broke. I remember when we were 5 and playing in your front yard and dared Danny yo eat the caterpillar and he almost did lol. Or your bird in the living room in the back. The times wed go and play Playstation upstairs. R.i.p old friend. Hopefully one day well reunite. I'm still trying to get in touch with your folks and brother. Much love buddy.

Jaime and Yesenia, I am so sorry for the loss of your son. I mean no disrespect to you or your family. I lost my brother at the same age of 19yrs and the first thing we do is loose faith and ask "Why?". After 18yrs of darkness in my heart for my brother I came to find out the answer as to "Why?" and it's simply because God has his plan for all of us and we must believe in God for he is the only one who has total control of what happens to us on earth. I have hope you will see your son when it's your turn to enter the Gates of Heaven, Jaimito will be at the right hand of God waiting for you with open arms. I met Jaime in Middle school and we lost touch after a couple years. But when did know him he always had everyone laughingnor always doing something crazy! I had never seen him down and he had always been there for anyone and everyone. He is now taken to a better place where he is not suffering anymore. I hope the family is staying strong because I know the last thing he wanted was for y'all to cry, he wants y'all happy!! Jaime will never be forgotten and always be carried in plenty of hearts.
