Javier Chapa Obituary

Mission - Javier Chapa, 45, went to be with the LORD on Thursday, March 11 2021, he passed away in Austin Texas. He was born on April 6, 1975 in Mission, Texas to Jacobo Chapa and Thelma Flores. He is preceded in death by his father: Jacobo Chapa. He is survived by his mother and step-father: Thelma Zamora and Soid Zamora, and his adoring children: Kassandra Chapa (mother-Olga Cantu Chapa), Javier Chapa Jr (mother-Olga Cantu Chapa), Julian Chapa (mother-Blanca Puga), Leonidas Chapa (mother-Blanca Puga), and (step-daughter) Angelica Gomez (mother-Blanca Puga) along with 1 grandchild: Lyzette Marie Chapa. He is also survived by his siblings: Soid Zamora Jr, Eric Zamora, Derek Zamora, Jacob Chapa, Priscilla Chapa, Monica Chapa and his grandmother: Cruz Chapa. Visitation is scheduled for Friday, March 19, 2021 from 1:00pm to 8:00pm with a 6:00pm rosary at the Lord and I Funeral Home in Peñitas, Texas. Cremation to follow at a later date. Due to the current climate surrounding COVID-19, we are limiting the amount of visitors to our facility and requiring all guests to please wear a mask and observe social distancing.
