Juan Castillo Obituary
Mr. Castillo was born in Pharr and had lived there all of his life.
He is preceded in death by his wife, Ernestina B. Castillo; a daughter, Sylvia Recio; a grandson, Raul Castillo Jr.; three brothers, Ruben Castillo, Jesus Castillo, Federico Castillo; and a sister, Angelica Soto.
Mr. Castillo is survived by four children, Gloria (Candelario) Guerra of San Juan, Juan B. (Martha) Castillo of Edinburg, Roberto (Peggy) Castillo of Mission, Raul (Maria E.) Castillo of Pharr; 22 grandchildren; 27 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; and two siblings, Ursula Avendano of Pharr, Victor "Cano" Castillo of San Juan.
Visitation will be held from 5 to 9 p.m., with a 7 p.m. rosary today, March 28, 2017, at Memorial Funeral Home in San Juan. Funeral service will take place at 10 a.m. Wednesday, March 29, 2017, at St. Jude's Catholic Church in Pharr. Interment will follow at Palm Valley Memorial Gardens in Pharr.
Funeral services are under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home in San Juan.
