JUANITA "JUANY" RODRIGUEZ DIFFIE Livingston, TX/Weslaco - Juanita "Juany" Rodriguez Diffie, 78, peacefully went on to be with the Lord at her home surrounded by her loving family in Livingston, Texas. She is survived by her loving spouse, Wayne Diffie and children: Victor Rodriguez, Olga Rodriguez, Rosemary Spann, Diana Cavazos, Sylvia Diffie and Rolando Rodriguez. She was the loving grandmother of 12 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren. She is also survived by siblings: Antonio Cavazos Sr., Juan Cavazos Sr., Jesus Cavazos, Dominga C. Villarreal and Angelita C. Perez. She is preceded in death by her parents - Arnulfo Cavazos, Braulia Cantu Cavazos: brother - Miguel Cavazos. Juany grew up in Weslaco, where she raised her children and worked in the family business, Cavazos Tortilleria, she later relocated to Oklahoma where she married her second husband Wayne Diffie. Her tender spirit touched many lives. She will be greatly missed. Her sense of humor never left her not even in her last days, almost as if she was trying to ease our pain. If you came over to visit she was always in the kitchen known for her great cooking and wonderful homemade tortillas and always made you feel right at home with her smile and sense of humor. She will be remembered in a Memorial Service to be held on Sunday, September 29, 2013, at Hawkins Funeral Home, 501 North Salinas Blvd. in Donna from 5:00 p.m.-9:00 p.m with a Rosary at 7:00 p.m. Followed by a Funeral Mass on Monday, September, 30, 2013 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Pius Catholic Church in Weslaco.
