Luis Pedraza Obituary
EDINBURG - Mr. Luis Javier Pedraza was born on Aug. 24, 1982, in McAllen,Texas to Pedro Pedraza Sr. and Josefina Pedraza. He entered eternal rest on Dec. 7, 2007, at the McAllen Medical Hospital at the age of 25 yrs. He was a life long resident of Edinburg.
Luis was a tremendous Dallas Cowboy fan. " GO COWBOYS"
He will be dearly missed by his family and friends.
Left to cherish his memory are; his wife Stephanie Ann Pedraza, his father Pedro Sr. and his mother Josefina Pedraza, three brothers Pedro Jr. , Jose Alberto ,and Peter; Sisters Patsy, Veronica, Virginia, Alejandra, Michelle, and Lydia. Also his maternal grandmother Maria C. Salinas
nephews and nieces- Vanessa M.Pedraza, Stephanie N. Pedraza, Davida A. Pedraza, Andre L.Keller, Adrian L. Keller, and Adam L. Keller
Visitation will be held on Sunday, Dec. 9, 2007, at Gonzalez Family Funeral Home, 812 E,. Cano Edinburg, from 1 to 9 p.m. with the Holy Rosary being prayed at 7 p.m. Funeral services will be held on Monday Dec. 10, 2007, at 1p.m. at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church of Edinburg.
Services will conclude at the church. Cremation services will be held at a later time.
Funeral arrangements and services are being directed by Gonzalez Family Funeral Home,LLC. of Edinburg.

Its already been one year that you haven't been here with all of us we all miss and love you so very much and still hoping you were here with us having fun but you are in a better place and having more fun then what we are right now but my heart still goes out to your family. Even after all this time it still feels unreal to not have you here with us. You were such a wonderful person and had such a great personality and I think that's what makes it so hard to let go of you. It makes me so sad that you had to leave us so soon but I feel blessed to have been part of your life. I miss you so much and I'll always remember you as my silly brother in law who liked to call me Smelly Melly and steal my sandals. I can still picture you on Patsy's couch laughing and even though it makes me so sad I love to picture you like that because it reminds me of what a great person and wonderful friend you were. My uncle was an amazing person. He made me laugh, smile, and brought cheer to everyone he was around. It was impossible not to have a good time when he was around. Josie, Pete, Pat, Beto, Stephanie, and all who loved him: My deepest condolences on Luis's passing. He was like a shooting star, so fast he was gone before we even knew it, but in that instant, he gave us a burst of light and heat that warmed us, touched us, and let us see each other and learn the importance of our family. well i dont know where to begin but i have known luis for a long time i was married to his bro joe and well eventhough we are not together luis will always be my bro in law like he said i would always be his sis in law no matter what well i was soooooooo shocked that luis life was cut short. i feel sooooo bad for his family for they have lost someone so dear to them he made everyone laugh and there was no one like luis dam luis why did u have to go my daughter davida (luis niece) is really sad cause her uncle is gone and she wants to die just so she can be with him i dont know if we will ever be alright for his loss is gonna take some long time to heal. i wasnt surprised at the funeral there were so many people that knew luis and love him he touched soooooooo many people lives the 25 years he was here and we had some conflicts prior to him leaving but when i went to the hospital a week before he died he was awake and knew i was there tears ran down his face and he squeezed my hand and i knew he knew i was there i told him i loved him and my heart is at peace with him cause at least he knew how i felt before he left us and i am so thankful to the lord that i got to tell him that. my condolences to u peter josie joe patsy and stephanie i am soooooooooooooo sorry about luis and i wish i could do more for u guys but i hope he is watching down on us and when its our time to come i truly hope we all get to be together again becasue i miss him already and the great person he was he will be so greatly missed i know that for a fact

I knew Luis from high school….I remember what first caught my attention about him..it was his smile. That smile of his was like a magnet everyone he came into contact with automatically loved him. I AM VERY SORRY THAT WE HAVE GONE FOR THIS VERY HARD TIME.I KNEW HIM SENSE I WAS A LITTLE GIRL BECAUSE HE CARED ABOUT ME WHEN I WAS A BABY AND HE WAS A VERY NICE UNCLE.HE WAS ALWAYS THERE FOR ME AND LISTENED TO ALL I HAD TO SAY.HE HAD A VERY GOOD HEART SO I AM SURE HE IS IN A BETTER PLACE RIGHT NOW.MAY HE REST IN PEACE.HE WAS VERY FUN FOR ALL OF US AND MY HEART IS BROKEN.BUT I KNOW I WILL SEE HIM ANOTHER TIME.STEPHANIE,GRANDMA,DAD,JOE,MELISSA,PATSY,AND ALL OTHERS,MY PRAYERS ARE ALWAYS WITH YOU.FOR ALL OF MY FAMILY I KNOW THEY ARE GOING TROUGH A ROUGH TIME. Im sorry for the loss that u are experiencing now, may God bless and guide You through this hard time. I knew Luis since 2000 and he really was a very good friend.
