Manuel Rodriguez Obituary

MISSION - Manuel H. Rodriguez, 86, of Mission, Texas went to be with the Lord on Thursday January 21st, 2021. Manuel was born March 15th, 1934 in Mission, Texas to Octavia Hinojosa Rodriguez and Alberto Rodriguez.

Manuel graduated from Mission High School, he served in the United States Army and National Guard, he also was a member of the Catholic War Veterans and a Mission Fire Department Volunteer. His humor, his love and his assuring presence will be greatly missed by all his family.

Manuel is preceded in death by his daughter Sylvia Rodriguez. He is survived by his wife Beatriz Pena Rodriguez, by his sons Mario A. (Yolanda) Rodriguez and Ricardo Rodriguez, by his daughters Thelma (Rudy), Molano, Beatriz (Jesse) Salinas, Rachel (Robert) Flores, his sister Ernestina Barraza, 23 grandchildren and several great grandchildren.

Visitation will be held on Sunday February 7, 2021 from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m. with a Holy Rosary to be recited at 430 p.m. at Flores Funeral Home in Mission, Texas. Funeral blessing will be celebrated at our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church in Mission, Texas on Monday February 8, 2021 at 930 a.m. with interment to follow at RGV State Veterans Cemetery.
