MANUEL SALAZAR Obituary

MANUEL M. SALAZAR EDINBURG - Manuel M. Salazar, 71, died Saturday, May 10, 2014, at Doctor's Hospital at Renaissance in Edinburg. Mr. Salazar was born in Mexico and had lived in Edinburg most of his life. He is preceded in death by his mother, Andrea Salazar. Manuel is survived by his wife, Virginia R. Salazar of Edinburg; six children, Roberto J. (Cassandra) Salazar of McAllen, Ricardo (Angela) Salazar of Floresville, TX, Manuel (Elizabeth) Salazar, Jeannette De Leon, Fidencio De Leon , all of Edinburg, and John P. Botello of Dallas, TX; his father, Leobardo Salazar of Donna; ten grandchildren; and seven siblings. Visitation will be held from 5 to 9 p.m., with a 7 p.m. rosary today, May 13, 2014, at Memorial Funeral Home, 208 E. Canton in Edinburg. Funeral service will take place at 10 a.m. Wednesday, May 14, 2014, at Resurrection Catholic Church in Alamo. Interment will follow at Val Verde Memorial Gardens in Donna.
