Martin Salinas Obituary

Edinburg - Martin Salinas Jr., 59, passed away Saturday, June 10, 2023, at Edinburg Regional Medical Center.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Martin Salinas Sr. and Maria Teresa Salazar; maternal grandparents, Pedro and Martina Garza; paternal grandparents, Albino and Elvira Salinas.

Mr. Salinas is survived by his spouse, Aida Salinas; three children, Stephanie Lynn (Gilberto III) Renteria, Martin Salinas III, Marcus Saul Salinas; five grandchildren, Javier Renteria, Gilbert Renteria, Robert Renteria, Omar Renteria, Austin James Salinas; three siblings, Rogelio Salinas, Noemi Salinas, Belinda (Damian) Gonzalez; and step-father, Aurelio Salazar Jr.

Visitation will be held from 5 to 8 p.m. with a 6 p.m. prayer service Monday, June 12, 2023, at Memorial Funeral Home, 208 E. Canton in Edinburg. Funeral service will take place at 1 p.m. Tuesday, June 13, 2023, at Baptist Temple Church in McAllen. Cremation will take place at Memorial Cremation Center in Edinburg.

Serving as pallbearers will be Manuel De Leon, Alberto Ramos Jr., Gregorio Garcia Jr., Regino Salinas Jr., Pedro Garza III, and Martin Salinas III.

Funeral services are under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home in Edinburg.
