Miguel Palomo Obituary
Miguel was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather. He lived in the moment and knew how to slow down life. He loved baseball, especially the Texas Rangers, enjoyed fishing and being near the water, and spent his free time watching western and action movies. He was an avid sports card and coin collector, enjoyed playing the lotto, and was known for finding joy in life's simple pleasures.
He is preceded in death by his wife, Graciela Palomo; his parents, Bernabe and Micaela Palomo; his brother, Jose Palomo; and his sister, Maria Luisa Palomo.
Miguel is survived by his children, Aleida (Eladio) Villarreal, Dr. Annabelle Palomo (Mikey Rios), Aida Palomo (Rene) Mendoza, and Michael (Marisa) Palomo; grandchildren, Bobby (Lori Garza) and Edgar Villarreal, Annika Rodriguez (Rene Gamboa), Michael and Alyssa Palomo; great-grandchildren, Landon and Layla Villarreal; his sister, Janie Galvan; and caregiver, Nancy Salazar Lopez .
Visitation will begin at 4 p.m., with a 6:30 p.m. Memorial Service Thursday, February 5, 2026, at Memorial Funeral Home Chapel in San Juan. In honor of Miguel, family and friends are encouraged to wear yellow, his favorite color.
Funeral services are under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home in San Juan.
