Minerva Luna Obituary
She is preceded in death by a grandson, Carlos Luis Ybarra, Jr.; and her parents, Jose Garcia and Pilar Rodriguez.
Minerva is survived by her husband, Jose Luis Luna of San Juan; eight children, Hilda (Carlos L.) Ybarra of Alamo, Maria Del Rosario (Jose) Alcocer of Houston, Jose Luis (Victoria) Luna, Jr., Maria Leonor (Carlos) Cadena both of San Juan, Soraida Luna of Weslaco, Jose Luna of San Juan, Irene (Julian) Rivera of Edinburg, Ruben (Mona) Luna of San Juan; 23 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; a sister, Adela Sosa of California; and a brother, Jesus Garcia, of Monterrey.
Visitation will be held from 5 to 9 p.m., with a 7 p.m. rosary Wednesday, June 27, 2018, at Memorial Funeral Home in San Juan. Funeral service will take place at 10 a.m. Thursday, June 28, 2018, at St. John the Baptist Catholic Parish in San Juan. Interment will follow at Val Verde Memorial Gardens in Donna.
Funeral services are under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home in San Juan.
