Aunt Petra, not a day goes by that I don´t remember something about you. You teaching me all kinds of things, always telling me to be good to my husband and son. I knew I could count on you for advice, prayers and incredible laughter we had. I miss you so so much. You were my mother´s replacement when mom passed and for that I´m forever grateful. I love you bunches Auntie Petra!

Tia Petra my sons Jason, Jake, Zach, Chris and granddaughter Jasmine have such wonderful memories of you that will live in our hearts forever. From the wonderful food like Chris’s favourite rice with raisins to that special chicken salad you taught to Jasmine. It was delightful to be around you in the kitchen as you dispensed advice, history of our family, food and love to all of us.
You always welcomed us with such joy when we visited and we loved sharing our life with you when you came to visit us. Our first thought was that you were reunited with Tío Arnoldo and Bebe and the joy you must have felt.
Our condolences to Yolanda and family and Hortencia and her family.
Rest In Peace beloved Tia.

We loved Petra! I will always remember her smile and laugh. She was fiercely protective of her family and had high expectations, which she instilled to her children and all future generations.
Oh how I wish for a "Petra Meal"...delicious tortillas, beans, tamales...mmmm! Rest in Peace.
Love to All!

Very sad to learn of Petra's passing. I have so many fond memories when we made visits to the family home. Petra and Arnoldo always made you feel so welcome. Now they are together again with their son. There will be great rejoicing in heaven and tho many tears have fallen here and we now have wonderful memories there will come a day when we all meet on that beautiful shore. What a day of rejoicing that will be.
Sincere condolences to Yolanda, Hortensia and families. Fay and Dan and extended family and friends in Canada.
