RAUL SALINAS Obituary
MISSION - Raul Salinas Jr., 50, passed away Thursday, July 14, 2011 in Mission, Texas. He was born on October 31, 1960 in Ciudad Camargo, Tamps., Mexico. Mr. Salinas was preceded in death by his father, Raul Salinas and his father-in-law, Manuel Portillo. He is survived by his mother, Guadalupe Salinas; his wife, Leticia Salinas; his sons, Guadalupe Efren (Laura) Salinas, Raul (Jacqueline) Salinas III; and his daughter, Yaresy Janeth Salinas. He is also survived by his two sisters, Maria Del Socorro Martinez, Maria Concepcion Rincon; five brothers, Marco Antonio Salinas, Mario Guadalupe Salinas, Luis Horacio Salinas, Jose Refugio Salinas, Juan Angel Salinas, and five grandchildren, Genesis, Giovanny, Giordy, Raul IV, and Melanie Salinas.
Visitation will be held today, Sunday, July 17, 2011 from 1:00 p.m. to 9:00 pm with a holy rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m. at Flores Memorial Chapel in Mission. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. Monday, July 18, 2011 at St. John of the Fields Catholic Church in Mission. Interment will follow at San Jose Cemetery in Mission. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the care of Flores Funeral Home of Mission.
