Roel Rodriguez Obituary
He is preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, Israel Rodriguez; his maternal grandfather, Pedro Barrientes, Sr.; and his paternal step-grandfather, Jose C. Reyna.
Roel is survived by his parents, Candelario and Lydia Rodriguez; two brothers, Israel Rodriguez, Pedro Rodriguez; his maternal grandmother, Rosa Barrientes; and his paternal grandmother, Bertha Reyna, all of Edinburg.
Visitation will be held from 5 to 9 p.m., with a 7 p.m. rosary today, May 22, 2017, at Memorial Funeral Home, 208 E. Canton in Edinburg. Funeral service will take place at 2 p.m., Tuesday, May 23, 2017, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Edinburg. Interment will follow at Hillcrest Memorial Park in Edinburg.
Funeral services are under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home in Edinburg.

My deepest sympathy my heart and prayers go out to all of you in this time of sorrow.
I had the pleasure of knowing him when he attended Jefferson Elementary. Will forever remain in our hearts.
