ROGELIO S. MARTINEZ EDINBURG - Rogelio S. Martinez, 65, died Saturday, November 21, 2015, at his residence in Edinburg. Born in Edinburg, Rogelio had lived there all of his life. He was a devoted father and grandfather. Rogelio was known and loved by many people. He will be missed by his loving family. He is preceded in death by his parents, Donicia and Antonio, Martinez; and six siblings. Rogelio is survived by his wife, Ermelinda Martinez; two sons, Rolando Martinez, Rogelio Martinez, Jr.; two daughters, Sonia (Elobardo) Trevino, Norma (Ubaldo) Pequeno, all of Edinburg; 13 grandchildren; three brothers; and two sisters. Visitation will be held from 5 to 9 p.m., with a 7 p.m. prayer service today, November 24, 2015, at Memorial Funeral Home, 208 E. Canton in Edinburg. Funeral service will take place at 10 a.m. Wednesday, November 25, 2015, at Memorial Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow at Hillcrest Memorial Park in Edinburg.
