Nilda,
My deepest sympathy on your mother's passing. Her legacy will live on in you and your children, and she will not be forgotten from what I have read in the guest book. I only wish I had made the pleasure of her acquaintance. May God comfort your family and hold you in His arms as you grieve this terrible loss. It is so hard sometimes to yield total control to the Lord, and yet as Christians we have no choice but to accept death on Earth knowing that life eternal awaits us on the other side. May this note bring you some measure of condolence. Praying for you and your entire family.

Joe G. Jaime.

Nilda,
A couple of months ago, you told me about your mom. You were incredibly joyous as you told me how much your mother had been so important in your life. You said that she was always a kind and generous person. You need to always remember the joy you feel every time you think of her. Humans only really have one important legacy that can be left behind and that is their memories that live on in their children, grand children and great grand-children. Your children will always know your mom because you will always tell them how wonderful she was with joy and admiration. There is no greater gift than the unconditional love of a mother to their child.
I wish for you and your entire family to celebrate your mother’s life and continue being the kind and generous people she taught you to be.
Love you,
Mary Pat

My most colorful memory is of Hna. Yolanda and her puzzles. She spread the puzzles out on my dining room table in Austin and made us work those puzzles. I can see the colors, the wooden platforms. I can hear the laughter. Everytime I see small puzzles or games I always think of Hna. and the pleasant times spent in the company of the Izaguirres. As long as there is something that makes you remember her name she will always be with you...explaining those puzzles.
