Sandra Vecchio Obituary
Sandra was born September 4, 1962 to Frank and Tina Vecchio. She worked at Dr. Norma Cavazos office in Mission, Texas. She loved spending time with her son, Dennis, and with her family. Sandra was a loving mother, devoted sister, and loyal friend.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Frank and Tina Vecchio; and a brother, Joe Vecchio.
Sandra is survived by her son, Dennis Ray Laughlin II; sister Cindy (Rick) Ramones of Del Valle, Texas, brother Robert (Sandra) Vecchio of Mission, and sisters Linda (Fred) Attwood of McAllen, Trish Vecchio of Austin; and several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held from 5 to 8 p.m., with a 6 p.m. rosary Thursday, February 4, 2021, at Memorial Funeral Home in San Juan. Funeral service will take place at 2 p.m. Friday, February 5, 2021, at Memorial Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow at Valley Memorial Gardens in McAllen.
The family would like to thank Dr. Norma Cavazos and the staff in the COVID Unit at DHR for all they did for Sandra.
Funeral services are under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home in San Juan.

When I saw Sandra in the obituary, my heart broke. She was my student in my 8th grade Earth Science class. She always had a smile on her face and was such a wonderful young lady. I cannot fathom that this amazing young woman is gone. When I ran into her a few years ago the first thing she remembered was the field trip she went on with me when she was in the 8th grade. What a void Sandra has left in this world. Rest in peace, sweet lady. You will always be the beautiful young lady in my class.
