Dear Saenz Family,
I don´t really know how to put into words what I´m feeling, but I have to try. Ted was one of my best friends for 41 years-more than a friend, really. He was a constant presence, a true brother in my life, and now, his absence is deafening.
There are few people in this world you can trust with your truth, your flaws, your laughter, and your pain. Ted was that person for me. He was steady, fiercely loyal, honest to the core, and had a wit that could cut through the worst days. We lived through so many seasons of life together-good ones, hard ones-and I can´t believe he´s gone.
I will miss the way he made me think deeper, laugh harder, and show up stronger. I will miss the phone calls, the long conversations that turned into therapy sessions or comedy shows-or both. I will miss knowing he was out there in the world, someone who had my back no matter what.
Please know how much Ted meant to me. His love for his family was always evident. He spoke about you with pride and devotion, and that love lives on in all of you.
This is a heartbreaking loss. I am grieving with you, and I am holding each of you close in my thoughts and prayers. I hope, in time, the weight of this loss softens just enough to let the warm memories shine through.
The beautiful thing about Ted was his Faith grew stronger every passing year. He shared it openly and without any fear, shame or reservation.
With all my love and deepest sympathy,
Marty Heiden

My condolences go to the family of a college teammate and friend. Ted and I came in to Livingston University the same year and shared some wonderful years of college and athletics. I always had a great admiration for Ted for coming from such a long way from home to fulfil his dream. What a wonderful buddy that we all will surely miss. My your family and love ones celebrate your life and your contribution to helping people around you.

I still think of Teddy every time I drive by the corner house they lived in back in the 1960's. Terrific guy.

I attended McHi in the 70's along with Teddy. He was a Senior classman when I was a Sophmore and I looked up to him. While was a stud on the field and admired and highly respected by all. Teddy was also a gentle bear and treated me with kindness and respect while not really knowing me. . His smile was infectious and always had a few minutes to share with me. May God bless your soul Teddy. My deepest condolences to his family.
