Uvaldo Rosales Obituary
MISSION - Uvaldo Rosales Sr., 89, passed away on Monday May 14, 2007, at Solara Hospital in McAllen. He worked for Water District No. 7 for 54 years. He was preceded in death by his wife, Amanda; daughter, Lydia Roberts; and son, Uvaldo Jr. He is survived by his two daughters, Rufina Ortiz and Yvonne Villarreal; two sons, Ramiro (Olga), Oscar (Nora+); one brother, Florindo; two sisters, Nora Guzman and Amelia Luna; five grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren. Visitation will be held from 5 to 9 p.m. today, May 15, 2007, at Virgil Wilson Memorial Chapel in Mission, 585-2721. A rosary will follow at 7 p.m. Funeral Mass will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday, May 16, 2007 at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church in Mission. Burial will follow at Valley Memorial Gardens. Virgil Wilson Mortuary of Mission is in charge of funeral arrangements.

Uncle, I will always remember the boat rides and the fishing trips when I was a little boy. I will miss you greatly, and will cherish the memories. My cousins, may God Bless You in your time of sorrow.

Working for the Shary Organization for over 35 years I had many occasions to know and work with Mr. Rosales and learned to respect and appreciate the good man he was.
