Yolanda Ortiz Obituary
Mrs. Ortiz was born in Edinburg on October 26, 1944. She retired after more than 30 years of employment with the Edinburg School District as a para professional who enjoyed working with children.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Cosme and Cayetana De Leon; four siblings, Cosme Jr., Rolando, Richard, and Jovita Jones.
Mrs. Ortiz is survived by her husband, Gilberto Ortiz; son, Jude; daughter, Yoli; three grandchildren, Marcos, Antonia, and Alina, who were with her during her illness; six siblings, Clementina, Alicia, Thelma, Diana, Reynaldo, and Rene.
At the request of the family a private Funeral Service was held Monday, October 9, 2023, at Memorial Funeral Home in Edinburg.
She will be dearly missed by her family and friends.
Funeral services were under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home in Edinburg.
