Matilde and and family, My thoughts and prayers are with you all! I am so sorry to hear about your loss, and the loss that many in the area will feel. Since knowing you while I was the secretary at Mt. St. Joseph, I cannot think of you, Matilde, without automatically seeing Flavio at your side and a smile on both of your faces, and a "Hi, how are you" - and knowing that you are both genuine, caring people who mean it when you ask that! I pray you will be blessed throughout this loss in some new way... and there will be an abundance of love and warmth to keep you comforted! God Bless!!

I echo the comments of Robb and Rae Wardrop. At my age there many things we forget, but the smile in the photo is something I remember about "Floyd". He was someone who always made you feel he liked you and I have no doubt it was genuine.

I pray God will comfort and bless his family and I look forward to seeing him again in the next life.

It is with heavy heart that I learned of the passing Flavio. I may not have known him as long as many of his other friends, but I got to know him while working full-time with the National Guard in Grand Ledge during my stay there from 1996 through 2003. He was a wonderful person, always with a smile, and garnered respect from everyone. He will be missed greatly. Prayers to his family.

Matile and family: Our thoughts and prayers are with you. Floyd was a great guy - warm, friendly and funny. I could always count on him to be one of the first to greet me at our class reunions for MPHS - it was great seeing that big smile. Floyd will always be one of the good guys!

I knew Flavio for numerous years while he served in th Michigan Army National Guard. The jokes we told each other helped us to the toughest times. He always looked out for the soldiers and he always was there with a smile. My thoughts go out to his family as I will surely miss him.

Flavio as most of us knew him was a great guy and an awesome friend. Someone you could talk to anytime. I enjoyed playing Soldier of Fortune with him almost every drill weekend and then running into him when i was working my civilian job at the Soaring Eagle where he would go with his wife to have a little fun. He will be greatly missed at our Armory in Grand Ledge.
