Another student from 1972-1973

I am so sorry to hear of Mrs. Vanderbeek's death. I, too, was one of her 7th grade students. I adored her and am now a teacher myself. I loved her stories and can still remember so many details about her life. I am honored that she shared those with us. She made me feel like I was capable. What an impact she had on so many of us.
