we will greatly miss good old
Jim, always with a smile and a joke or two. It's sad that he was taken so soon, but that is not our choice. R.I.P. old friend.

Hi Folks, I think I first met Jim in 1989 on a construction project for Texas Eastern. He was the construction manager for Texas Eastern. I loved his special business cards back then. I lost mine. We worked for Jim several times over the last 25 years. Always a pleasure to know. In recent years, we spoke more about our time in Vietnam and his September birthday and mine being in October. The phone call often include 'Hi Ole Man' (Jim) and 'Kid' (Joe) with a few expletives deleted. There were many good times and a few bad times on the pipeline jobs. Early starts, late quits, working in rain and snow were part of the job. Jim was always positive and encouraging (sometimes with his Hammer too) but he was always pushed to make me a better person, to do the best we could, and not to give up on the tough portion. I was always a pleasure to work with him. After he lost his Jane and retired, our phone calls and emails were often about 50 years ago in Vietnam and his son Jim who is also in construction. Jim will always be well remembered and well respect by me. Rest in Peace, my Vietnam Brother. Well Done. Amen.
