Grandpa, thank you for all of the things you did for Joe & I when we were growing up. I will never forget our "magic words", "ninjas", teddy bear lolly pops for my throat, all of the wonderful birthday dinners, you playing santa for us every year, wrapping our gifts when dad would buy them, carrot cake on every one of my birthdays, spider rings, beef and noodles, breakfast at your house in the mornings, soap operas, the box of toys you kept that you always played with, with me, sleep overs at your house, walnut picking, grape picking, rides on the lawn mower, "I got your nose!", "hokey pokey", going to Aunt Elaines, fun car rides to Saginaw and Lansing, Christmas tree decorating, you always picking me up from school early...and so much more. You were, hands down, the world's best grandpa, and I would never have wanted another. I know you are at peace now, and I know you are with Grandma, Uncle Keith, and of course Bob. I just hope you know how much I love you and miss you, and always will. Thank you, Gramps...for a lifetime of wonderful memories. I won't ever forget you and I will try to never let you down.

I love you and miss you so much grandpa. Words could never describe. I know you're up in Heaven rejoicing with Grandma now, and that gives me comfort.
