LOREN O. ELDRED

July 1, 1937 to September 20, 2022

It is with great sadness that we share with you the passing of our Dear Husband, Father, and Grandfather. Our Dad was a kind, generous, fun-loving, non-judgmental, forgiving soul. He certainly loved life and lived it to the fullest. From his early days delivering newspapers; to playing a tune at the piano; to the softball diamond; to bowling and golfing, hunting, and boating. He did everything well, and with great passion! But, above all - he was the BEST GIRL DAD ever!!

Dad and the love of his life Martha Jane (Mom) were married for 64 years and were the best of friends. They were a dynamic team together and their love was unconditional. The past few years of Dad's life, as dementia stole most of his memory, Dad never, ever forgot the love of his life or Mom's name. He recognized all three of us, but we all had the same name "Honey".

We would like to thank the AMAZING staff at the Stone Lodge Memory Care Facility. They all gave such tender care and showed amazing love to our Dad (and Mom!). They helped us navigate through this difficult phase of life - taking our worries away. True angels from heaven, we love them all.

After mourning Loren this past year and a half, we decided it was time to celebrate his life and give him one final "happy hour" send off. We would love to invite our friends and family to a celebration of Loren's life at Bucks Run Golf Club (1559 S. Chippewa Rd, Mt. Pleasant, MI) on Tuesday, Sept. 27th, 2022, from 4p-7p.
