May Moon Obituary

Moon (DuVall), May June passed away January 7th at 6:45 am at the Mid-Michigan Medical Center in Midland, MI. She was born May 31st, 1934 to Aneta and Cecil DeVall. May (Juney) was a long time resident of Ithaca where she worked for D&S Auto Trim and the Marble Inn. May was an avid book reader and collector who loved spending time with her family. She raised her family with her husband while watching her grand children. She also enjoyed completing crossword puzzles while watching her favorite soap operas. Surviving are her daughters Kathy Moon, Anna McQueen, and Cindy (Virgel) DeRosia; her son's Raymond (Bethany) Moon, and Cecil Moon; and her grandchildren Stacy Moon, Shaun (Kimberly) Moon, Stephanie Moon, Ashley McQueen, David McQueen, Rhonda Green, Jessica (Chad) Mullens, Angelia (Robert) Hildebrant, Darrin Allison, Jeremy (Abbey) Most, and Coltyn Moon. Preceding her in death are her parents; her husband Leroy Moon; her sons Barry Moon and Michael Moon; and her sisters Joan Culver, Beverly Earl, and Bonnie Davidson; and her grandson Darrell Fenby. Funeral services for June will be 11 a.m. Friday, January 12, 2018, at the Barden Funeral Home in Ithaca, with Pastor Dave Perry officiating. Interment will follow in Chapel Gardens Cemetery in Elwell. Visitation will be 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Thursday at Barden Funeral Home. Condolences may be left for the family online at www.bardenfuneralhome.com.
