Nora V. "Billie" Methner, 98, of Clare died at home Tuesday June 15, 2021 with her family by her side. She was born April 11, 1923 in Mt. Pleasant the daughter of the late Merrill & Pearl (McCLoud) Dunn. Nora V. Dunn married Floyd S. Methner August 17, 1945 in Coleman. He preceded her in death March 15, 1983. Billie's hobbies included gardening, reading and puzzles. She enjoyed playing the piano and singing with her sister Verva. Billie was a life member of the Community of Christ Church. She will be best known for her love of family. Survivors include her children: Lonna & Bob Marrs of Warren, Indiana, Floyd & Kim Methner of Newport Richey, Florida, Kim & Connie Methner of Sanford, Renee & Dennis Allen of Coleman, Valli Jo Methner of Clare, 31 grandchildren, 43 great-grandchildren, 6 great-great-grandchildren, several nieces and nephews. Billie was also preceded in death by her sister Verva L. Brown. Funeral services will be held 3:00 pm Saturday June 19, 2021 at the Community of Christ Church in Coleman, with Pastor Jack Tigner officiating. Burial will take place in the Warren Township Cemetery, Coleman. Friends may call at the O'Laughlin Funeral Home, Inc. on Friday from 2-4 & 6-8 pm and at the church on Saturday starting at 2 pm until the time of services. Memorials are suggested to the Community of Christ Church.
