Rex Sadler Obituary
June 12, 1942-Feb. 19, 2011
Rex Sadler age 68, of Elwell, passed away Saturday, February 19, 2011 at his home.
Funeral services will be held today, Tuesday, February 22nd, at 11 am at Lux-Moody-Wolfel Funeral Home, Alma with Rev. Dr. Jana Lynn Almeida of the Lincoln Road United Methodist Church officiating. Interment will be in Pritchard Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the Lincoln Road United Methodist Church.
Rex was born June 12, 1942 in Alma the son of Lyle and Harriet (Putnam) Sadler. He owned Rex Sadler Insurance in Elwell, selling insurance for over 40 years. He was a member of the Lincoln Road United Methodist Church, where he had served as a past treasurer. Rex was also a member of the JayCee's and enjoyed horses and talking on his CB Radio.
Rex is survived by two brothers, Richard (Cheryl) Sadler of Redmond, Washington, Robert (Mayet) Sadler of Traverse City, two sisters, Evelyn (Dick) Rierson of Muskegon, Carolyn (Jim) Simcox of Mt. Pleasant and many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents.

Rex, was one of my first patients as an RN at Gratiot Community Hospital many years ago. I always remembered him and his genuine kind spirit. May he rest in peace. Mary (Tilmann) Stokes.

Rex was a great guy! He was the best man at my husband, Jim and my, Winn Harrier's wedding. He was such a joker and made our day special. We will always remember Rex and miss him.

So sorry to hear about Rex.. He was my insurance man for many years & someone who always had a smile on his face, I don't think he had a bad word for anyone. He will definitely be missed.
