There's not a day when I pass Stone lodge that I don't think about Ronnel He was such a gentle man caring and knowledgeable. He would share stories with me and then we would hold hands look at history books or do wood working with me. Ronnel was one of my first guest that I had the pleasure to help with. I will forever cherish the beautiful memories I have of Ronnel from the very first moment he entered the doors of Stone Lodge. It was such an honor and privilege to know him and his legacy. I don't know if I ever met such a gentleman and only wish I would have known him longer. My wishes go out to the family and sincerest gratitude for sharing your husband and father with us. God Bless his beautiful spirit. He has been set free.

I spent several years working for Ron. It was my first job out of High School and that summer we built and finishing ornamental pieces that we installed on the ceiling in the Original Zion Lutheran Church building. We started with ruff oak boards, milled them down, cut to them to size, assembled and finished them. I learned a ton and still use those skills today on my own projects. Then I followed him to Pickard Place and worked a couple of summer and winter breaks assisting him with the maintenance of the building. Once I graduated college and got married I moved away I only saw him once in a while but when I did he would always greeted me with a huge ERIC!!!! Ron was a wonderful mentor to me and I am forever grateful that he was a part of my life! I look forward to day when we can be together again in heaven and I can hear that wonderful greeting of ERIC!!!! Rest in piece my friend....
