Thomas Watson Obituary

Thomas “Tommy” Timothy Watson was a caring son, brother, grandson, cousin, and friend. He left this world suddenly on February 20, 2021, at age 16 in a tragic snowmobile accident doing what he loved. He was born to Tim and Sarah Watson on June 12, 2004. He was a sophomore at Alma High School, where he played football, ran track, and loved weightlifting and spending time with his friends. He enjoyed his high school experience and was always surrounded by good friends. Tommy and his friends would often gather at his house, by the pool, around the fire, in the woods, or on the trails. His house was always open and there was always a meal waiting for all who gathered. Tommy is survived by his parents Tim and Sarah and his sister Nora Watson of Alma, Michigan; his grandparents Tom and Mary Krapohl of Mt. Pleasant, Michigan, and Bob and Mary Watson of St. Louis, Michigan; his Aunt Michele and Uncle John of St. Louis, Michigan; his Aunt Tonya and Uncle Spencer of Mt. Pleasant, Michigan; his Aunt Carly and Uncle Joe of Mt. Pleasant, Michigan; his Aunt Vicki and Uncle Paul of Spring Lake, Michigan; cousins Amanda, Ryan, Nolan, Carlos, Mary, Olivia, Merritt, Johnny, Jakey, and Trevin. He was preceded in death by his brother Marcus. Tommy loved his family, his friends, his girlfriend Carlee Fall, and his little dog Max. We have God’s peace in our hearts knowing he was loved completely and fully and he loved back the same way. A funeral service will be held at 2pm on Sunday February 28th at the Seville Community Church of God at 8360 Monroe Rd., Elwell, MI 48832. Youth For Christ (YFC) will provide a meal following the service at 2550 W. Cheesman Rd., Alma, MI. In lieu of flowers, please donate to the Alma Sports Boosters. Envelopes will be available at Clark Family Funeral Chapel and at the Seville Community Church of God. You may send a condolence to the family at Tommy’s Book of Memories at www.clarkfuneralchapel.com.

Thinking of you all, we have not forgotten Tommy. Rest in heaven Tommy. Your parents miss you terribly. One year ago, seems like yesterday.

Sarah, Tim and Nora-I wish I had the perfect words to say to comfort you all. I feel blessed that I had the opportunity to spend some time with Tommy several years ago. He was showing Tony and I his trains and you could tell how much he loved them. I love you all and your entire family and will hold those special memories I have of Tommy forever. Love Bonnie

May God bless you and your family in this time of sorrow. It was my honor and privilege to teach and coach Tommy. He was a joy to be around and I look forward to talking football with him again when we will meet in heaven. Lifting your entire extended family up in prayer.

Tommy was always one of the sweetest boys. He was always very kind to his sister and cousins. He truly loved them all. He was the first grandchild of Tom and Mary Krapohl and they have always had a very special and close relationship with him. I believe he was a natural athlete. He was the only baby I’ve ever seen who could shoot baskets from his high chair. We all thought the world of him.
