Earl Johnson

Earl Johnson passed away on March 27, 2017 at the age of 69. Earl is survived by his wife: Shirley Johnson, his children: Elijah Mobley, Mallory Coats, and Benjamin Johnson, and siblings: Patricia Moore, Phoenix, AZ, Gene Johnson, James Muhammed, Mel Brunt, Annie McCool, Murry Smith. Siblings who preceded him in death; Robert Lee Johnson, Jr., Earnest Lee Johnson, Anthony Smith, Emma Goodlow, Eva Saahir, and Joyce Ordway. Earl was born June 29, 1947 in Cleveland, Mississippi to the late Mr.& Mrs. Robert Lee Johnson, Sr. Later, the family moved to Coahoma County where Earl completed his formal education. He received his bachelor's degree in fine art from the Kansas City Art Institute, Kansas City, Missouri and a master's degree from the Indiana University, Bloomington, Indiana. Family and friends are invited to attend the Funeral Service on Saturday, April 1,2017 at The Boyd Family Funeral Home, 5001 Chef Menteur Hwy, NOLA 70126 for 10:00 A.M.
